"A Voice" 4/23/2004
I hear a voice so sweet and pure.
It takes away all the pain and sadness I have to endure.
A comforting voice like I'm walking on the shore.
I long to hear more.
I feel comfort and peace.
I hope this voice will never cease.
It makes me feel so at ease.
Who's voice is it though?
I am curious to know.
The voice that sounds so assuring and true.
This voice must belong to you.
I'm crying because I miss you.
I don't know what will happen to me if I lose you.
I don't know what I'd do.
What keeps me alive is my love for you, and hope for the future. Is there hope?
Baby I don't want us to fall apart.
I'm remembering good advice a wise friend told me.
I'm just going to continue to follow my heart. <33
